As I read through this book I felt like I was actually Bruno. Every time he would go visit Shmuel or would be in the housei would try my best to picture myself in Bruno’s shoes. The part in the book that I felt like I actually was in Bruno’s shoes was when he wasn’t scared he was 100% Brave was when he found Striped pajama pants and when in the Camp with Shmuel to me that felt like he would do anything to be with his Best Friend. When I finished this book I actually took like 10-15 minutes just thinking about the book on how it’s was just really great. How they never mentioned it it they just let the details tell the story on how Bruno’s Dad was working for the Nazis but Bruno never knew. And how he never knew why Shmuel was on the other side of the fence. The Bruno had to find out the hard and I even like got emotional when Shmuel and Bruno disappeared. They probably died and are together that is a real friendship.

Chapters 12-13

In these chapters Out With was making Bruno’s emotions for people even worse. Shmuel was getting even more sick from just living in the camp. His body is a good comparison to a skeleton. He is so skinny. One day Bruno comes home and he finds out that Lieutenant Kotler brought Shmuel to polish some of the cup glasses for Bruno’s father Party

Shmuel tells him that he is in Poland because Bruno’s new house has always been there when Shmuel wasn’t in the camp. In the next Chapter Bruno’s family gets a visit from the Fury( Country Leader) because of his Fathers Job but him and sister weren’t allowed downstairs when the Fury was their. When the Fury left his father and mother were having conversation about them loving their the last thing he heard was that his father doesn’t want to hear anything about it.

Chapter 8-9

In these chapters Bruno is trying to convince his parents that there are people on the other side of the barbed wire wall. But by what they were saying you can tell that his parents already knew what was going on on the other side but they don’t want there kids knowing but Bruno has no idea.

In Chapter 6 Bruno actually feels or the maid he cares about why she is a maid. So Bruno walks into his room where Maria their maid is putting always his clothes. He notices that her face seems kind of sad. So he asks her what is wrong and this whole time it seems as if Maria is homesick of Berlin just like Bruno. In Chapter 7 Bruno goes outside for like the first time in a while. He notices that there is a true swing hanging in one of the trees. So he decides to go on it. He was having fun for the first couple of minutes and then the tyre took a nasty spin and Bruno fell off and hit his head. He was blacked out for a couple of minutes. And when he comes back he notices a big cut on his knee. So he goes back home to find his mother but his mother wasn’t their. It was only one of their butlers named Pavel. Bruno asks him for help Pavel picks him up and put him on the table. When Pavel is treating Bruno’s knee he starts telling him how before being a butler he was studying to be a doctor and Bruno was suprised.

Chapter 4-5

Through this chapter Bruno notices a big wall across the field but their house. He gets to higher ground to see over it. What he sees left him speechless for about 5 minutes.
